I hissed, my thoughts were I’ve not fund raised, risen or rose for my own Church, I will now come and do so for yours?? Why would I want to donate🤷🏾♀️. I’m resolute they won’t get one penny off me. I quickly check the link though and noted that no one has made a donation.

This blog post has sat as a draft for well over a year and only been updated shortly before I published, hence the mish-mash of past tense, present tense, past ‘prinsipa’ or whatever they call it, my English teacher would be absolutely mortified (Come and beat me Ma) When life throws pepper at you....make pepper soup and ayamase. What if I told you bar 2 people in this photograph, I’d never met any of the others before this day?
The title of today’s blog is ‘An expression used to let somebody politely know there is no need to hurry’.
Now where did I stop?
Ok the part where we packed our ‘Ghana-must-go’ large matted woven bag heading towards Heathrow airport. Obviously by now you know my pre-departure test was negative. Waiting for the test results sent stress levels through the roof, coupled with the fact that they came through in the wee hours of the day of travel. Then the 3 hours spent trying to upload the results onto Nigeria’s user ‘unfriendly’ Permit To Travel portal and paying for a day 2 PCR test left me angry, exhausted but relieved.
